Sarasota Paint Store of the Future in Herald Tribune

Benjamin Moore North American paint brand has selected Sarasota Paint Company, at 2088 12th Street in Sarasota, as the first in the nation of it's new paint store of the future.

Sarasota Paint, owned by independent retailer David Jasik, Benjamin Moore's first location to unveil the brand's upgraded color-selection area and modernized color-chip display with futuristic LED lighting. The paint store upgrades were installed towards the end of January 2016, and customer response is overwhelmingly positive, said owner David Jasik. The new store area resembles a custom paint design center, rather than a typical warehouse style paint store.

“Our clientele is a little more sophisticated, and today’s market is a little more sophisticated as far as picking colors,” said Jasik. “You want just the right color. This does that. This gets that accomplished.”
